Sunningdale Golf Club's Old Course played host to the first Financial Times Business Championship event of the 2010 season. Competitors enjoyed the sunny weather, immaculately presented golf course and excellent hospitality provided by the club.
10 teams took part in the competition, all hoping to secure their place in this year's Grand Finals, taking place at the Quinta do Lago Resort's Laranjal Course in October.
It was a close competition and Drew Smith Ltd proved victorious with a team score of 78 points followed by Brookeside on 77 points and TJM Developments on 76 points. All three teams won luxury prizes from Inkerman's Crystal Collection, with Drew Smith Ltd security their place in the Grand Finals taking place from 16th-19th October.
Pamela McGuirk won the Nearest the Pin prize on the 13th Hole, winning an Odyssey Backstryke Putter, and Bob Lock won the Longest Drive competition on the 18th Hole and took home a Callaway Diablo Hybrid.
