The 2010 Financial Times Business Championship finished on a high with the final event of the season taking place at the exclusive New Zealand Golf Club on Tuesday 3rd August.

Despite it being one of the shorter courses on the list, New Zealand Golf Club proved to be a good test of golf for competitors, who had to keep the ball on the straight and narrow in order to avoid the heather.

Ramac Holdings finished on 78 points to win the event and qualify through to the Grand Finals at Quinta do Lago in Portugal.  EWC finished in second place on 76 points, closely followed by Williams Tarr on 75 points.  All three teams were awarded crystalware from Inkerman's luxury collection.

EWC cleaned up in the individual prizes with Bill Shaw winning the Nearest the Pin competition and taking home an Odyssey Strykeback putter, and James Tottey winning the Longest Drive for which he won a Callaway Diablo hybrid club.

Thank you to all the teams who have taken part in the competition this year and we hope to see you again next year.
